The
restaurant "Fermata Ceretto" was established in 1908 as an osteria, and
since then has always been run by the different generations of the Rosso
family.
The
kitchen offers a great variety of traditional plates from the Piedmont
region, such as fritto misto (a sweet and sour fried mix), brasato al
Barolo con polenta (roast meat cooked with Barolo wine and served with
polenta), ravioles from the Val Varaita region (typical potato dumplings,
cooked with cream and cheese), valgranotti al Castelmagno (homemade
tagliatelle cooked with a tasty regional cheese).
During the
summer, the dining hall is air-conditioned. Also available is a cool
vine-covered terrace. |
